The Opta Supercomputer has released new predictions for the Premier League title race after an exciting round of matches on Wednesday.
Arsenal strengthened their position at the top of the table after defeating Brighton 1-0, thanks to a first-half goal from Bukayo Saka. The victory extended the Gunners’ lead to seven points in the standings.
Meanwhile, Manchester City dropped valuable points after playing out a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium.
Following these results, Opta’s updated projections now give Arsenal a 92.84% chance of winning the Premier League title this season. Manchester City, despite still having a game in hand, now has their chances reduced to 7.16%.
As for Manchester United and Aston Villa, their recent defeats to Newcastle United and Chelsea, respectively, have effectively ended their title hopes, with Opta giving both clubs a 0% probability of winning the league.#PremierLeague #Arsenal #BukayoSaka #EPLTitleRace #FootballNews
